Electrical Cardioversion

What is it?

It is used to restore your hearts normal electrical rhythm.

How is it done?

A small electrical current is introduced to the heart using external paddles. This current resets the hearts rhythm. A short general anaesthesia of less than 5 minutes is required for this procedure which is all organised by our team.
